During October 2023, we hosted a wellness retreat for extraordinary souls. The retreat was focused on Self-Healing Techniques that will be incorporated in their day to day lives. Our goal was to bring awareness of a healthier lifestyle physically, emotionally and mentally. They were brought through a variety of meditations, breathwork and movement of energy flow. Everyone shared a valuable perspective that made this retreat a valuable remembrance.



Calm before sleep

Preparing for sleep is an important practice to release out the tensions of the day and bring yourself to a restful dream state. At night, we prepared for rest with a Sound Healing Meditation. We used 7 singing bowls and rain stick. Multiple times several of the retirees claimed that certain singing bowl sound resonated with them. At the same, all agreed was a truly relaxing experience that they weren’t expecting for.

A good way to start the Day

Some people claim that conquering the morning also conquers the whole day. Our morning habits are crucial to set the mood of the day. We started the mornings in a grateful state connecting with nature, achieving awareness within us and focused on the present moment. The morning trip to the beach was the perfect chance to practice grounding, basic Tai Chi movements and a powerful mindfulness meditation. Also, we didn’t past the chance to go in the water and let the ocean heal our being.

A healthy but impressively delicious cuisine

Usually, healthy and delightful we perceive them as opposite qualities. The organic plant-based food was a total delight and was prepared taking in consideration of the nutritional values and the harmony of ingredients that stimulated our taste buds. The menu was inspired from the typical Puerto Rican food and enhanced with all plant-based ingredients. Plant- based food is usually not well conceptualized by people who doesn’t follow the lifestyle. Our retirees got so amazed by the taste of the dishes that many were interested in the recipes to try at home and share with friends. Needless to say, they brought back home the leftovers.

Workshops for the Spirit

As Angel use to repeat: “learning is healing“, we also had learning time for self- healing. During the Wellness Retreat schedule, several workshops were done to learn about energy, chakras, crystals, intuition, setting intentions and much more. The most valuable achievement was the interest and attention of the participants. Each one was engaged taking notes, asking questions and having their full- attention on the topic. The activities held wasn’t just educational but also fun. I believe that these engagement helped to build a bond that encouraged the sharing of the techniques. We also found some surprises from the participant’s abilities.

A Retreat to Remember

The Wellness Retreat brought us a powerful healing experience. The interaction bonding was very similar as been in a family Holiday. We want to give much thanks to all the participants and collaborators that made this experience possible. This Retreat is an inspiration for so many more and the motivation to persevere in promoting self-healing and a healthier lifestyle.
