1. Respect for Others:
- Treat all participants, staff, and instructors with kindness, empathy, and respect. We value diversity and expect all individuals to do the same, embracing cultural, religious, and personal differences.
2. Mindful Communication:
- Engage in open and honest communication, listening attentively to others. Avoid interrupting, gossiping, or using offensive language. Refrain from confrontational or aggressive behavior.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality:
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants. What is shared within the retreat should remain within the retreat. Do not share personal information or experiences without explicit permission.
4. Personal Space:
- Respect the personal space and boundaries of others. Do not touch, hug, or engage in any physical contact without clear and mutual consent.
5. Technology Detox:
- Disconnect from electronic devices during scheduled activities and sessions. Use of mobile phones, tablets, or other electronic devices should be limited to designated areas and times.
6. Punctuality:
- Be punctual for all scheduled activities, classes, and sessions. Arriving late disrupts the experience for others.
7. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a pleasant environment for all. Please be mindful of shared spaces and clean up after yourself.
8. Alcohol and Substance Use:
- The consumption of alcohol and illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Prescription medications should be disclosed to the retreat staff.
9. Environmental Responsibility:
- Help us maintain a clean and sustainable environment by disposing of waste properly and following any eco-friendly practices provided.
10. Safety:
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by staff. Report any safety concerns or incidents to staff immediately.
11. Participation:
- Engage actively in retreat activities and sessions, demonstrating a willingness to learn, grow, and support fellow participants.
12. Conflict Resolution:
- If conflicts or issues arise, seek resolution through open and constructive communication with the involved parties or retreat staff. Aggressive or disrespectful behavior is not tolerated.
13. Emergencies:
- In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions provided by the staff for your safety and the safety of others.
Participants who do not adhere to this Code of Conduct may face consequences, including removal from the retreat without a refund. We appreciate your commitment to maintaining a positive and transformative atmosphere during your experience at Isabela Retreat.
